BULLOCK’S ELECTRICAL

Our goal at Bullock’s Electrical Repair, Inc., is to achieve Impact over Profit, which we pursue by facilitating a mutual cycle of community engagement and investment.  We take great pride in recruiting from within the same communities that we serve, and investing with intention in the professional development of our Team.  As Investment Partners, our Trades Professionals receive strategic training and development on the business behind electrical work, while also being challenged with the hands-on learning and application of the technical skills required to safely and effectively service electricity.

Through the investments made by our Trades Professionals to increase their technical proficiency, business competency, communicational effectiveness, and code compliance knowledge, the consumers of our services are naturally transitioned into Neighbors within our Community Circle of Service & Investment, where the priority is to provide the best experience possible as opposed to a simple transactional exchange.  That said, at Bullock’s Electrical, we value relationship building and approach it in a nonconventional business manner.  For example, the term “Employee” does not accurately reflect the mutual commitments made between the Company and our Trades Professionals, hence the Teammate descriptor that we’ve adapted.  As Teammates, our Trades Professionals have made the commitment to invest in their professional development through the adoption of our Business Systems, which makes them Investment Partners.  Another key distinction in how we approach relationship building is our avoidance of degrading the relationship between the Company and the consumers of our service experiences by referring to them as mere customers.   Each financial exchange between the Company and one of our Neighbors signifies a mutual Investment.  We invest our licensed, professional expertise in addressing electrical challenges, while our Neighbor’s billing serves as an investment in our goal to achieve Impact over Profit, thus making us all Investment Partners.

As Investment Partners, we commit to and invest in each other, which strengthens our overall community bond.  Our Neighbors can expect a timely, consistent, dependable service experience for each job, while our Apprentice Trades Professionals are able to work towards their certification through our Apprenticeship Program.  After completing 8,000 hours of on-the-job training, and successfully completing 576 hours of classroom time, our Apprentice Professionals are awarded their Virginia State Department of Labor and Industry Certificate of Completion, a prerequisite of state licensure.  Our commitments and approaches serve as the driving force behind our pursuit of achieving Impact over Profit, one job at a time.
